As technology is evolving, the focus has shifted from storage on the local hard disk to Storage on the Network. There are several underlying technologies that go in to make such storage possible. The industry has gone a step further and based on Networked Storage, solutions for Information Life Cycle Management, Disaster Recovery and High Availability are evolving. Digital Media- Media Solutions are associated with High Storage Requirements and the two technology streams have evolved with each other. The talk will focus on these technologies and how related areas are fast converging. I will also talk about the work that TCS is doing in these and related areas.
