Analysis of English Reading

1. There has been no significant backtracking,except to some words in the first paragraph like "Lamarck","organism","environment",which are the keyowrds in the theory proposed by Lamarck.Hence,the backtracking might be accountable to the tendency to revise the text for commiting it to the memory.
2. The fixations are longer at the words at the end of the paragraph and longer words like "acknowledges" and keywords like "organisms","ridiculed"
3. These fixation at the end of the paragraph can be explained by the fact that there is a transition in the text and some new idea will follow the paragraph.Hence the fixation might not be word specific,but idea specific.The fixations at longer words are self explanatory.Finally,the fixations at keywords might be the result of the tendency discussed in point 1

Analysis of Hindi Reading

1. As in case of English reading,the backtracking occurs at the keywords like "Nairasya Leela","Bachpan ke saath","upanyaas".
2. The fixations are longer at "aakhyan" and "Landmark"
3. The former fixation is because of the word being uncommon.The latter is due to the word being a "Videshaz" word.
