Title: Power Allocation Issues in a Wireless Mesh Network
Abstract: Spatial-reuse Time Division Multiple Access or STDMA is a MAC technique that allows simultaneous reception and simultaneous transmission of signals in a wireless network. Simultaneous transmission and reception between di erent antennas that are geographically very close impose various constraints on the power transmitted by these antennas. This report will delve into how to determine a feasible power allocation to the various antennas in a given topology. We focus on an 802.11-based wireless mesh network built using point-to-point links.
