I am Anindya Ganguly, a PhD scholar at the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, IIT Kanpur. I am very fortunate to have Prof. Nitin Saxena as my academic advisor. My area of interest lies in the interplay between computational number theory and cryptography.
Before that, I worked as a Project Associate at IIT Bhilai under the supervision of Prof. Dhiman Saha. I earned my MS in Computer Science and Engineering from the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, IIT Kharagpur. During my MS, I luckily worked under the guidance of Prof. Abhijit Das (a unique personality) and Prof. Dipanwita Roy Chowdhury. The MS work focused on hyperelliptic curve cryptography. Also, I completed M.Sc. in Mathematics from the Department of Mathematics at IIT Kharagpur. During M.Sc. I started working in Cryptography with Prof. Sourav Mukhopadhyay.
