Title : Generative Adversarial Network Speaker : Ian Goodfellow Date : 12/2/2017 (Friday) Time : 11 am Venue: KD101 Abstract: Hello All, We are having an interaction session with Ian Goodfellow on the 12th of February(Sunday) on the topic of GANs(Generative Adversarial Network) and adversarial learning. Ian will begin the session by talking about some problems in the domain, which are interdisciplinary in nature and would hopefully be interesting to people, who want to partake in conducting research in this domain. Following this, we will have a Q&A session, where you can ask him questions regarding GANs, possible directions of research etc. This should be interesting to people working in Machine Learning, Optimization and Game Theory among others. In an attempt to have a productive Q&A, here is a google form, (Q&A form link) where you can submit your questions so that we can have a list of questions, which can be asked during the Q&A. In case, you are absent during the session, someone else could ask the question. We will try and compile a report of the Q&A as well. Please make an effort to read a bit about the topic in general, write down the questions and be present during the interview. If it turns out to be interesting, we can ask more people, who are expert in their domains to attend more interactive sessions.
